File and text tools
PDFs, images, passwords, and text entered into local tools are processed in your browser. TEWLBOX does not upload those inputs or output files. Avoid using shared devices for private work, and check downloaded results before sharing them.
Screenshot-to-Text and Avatar Studio
Text recognition runs on your device using an English OCR model and engine files loaded from TEWLBOX. The selected image and recognized text are not uploaded. Avatar Studio builds character images locally; downloaded avatars are not posted to a public gallery or automatically added to a profile.
Website checks and external searches
Website checks send the selected supported domain to our server and make a request to that website. Web searches open Google in a new tab. Restaurant searches open Google Maps with the ZIP code and state you enter. Those services receive the search information when you submit it, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. TEWLBOX does not use a paid search, shopping, news, or restaurant-data API.
Device storage and basic usage measurement
Favorites, game preferences, high scores, and shared player XP, levels, and reward history may be saved in your browser’s local storage. A random identifier in session storage helps deduplicate tool-completion and sponsorship events. Event records contain the date, tool or campaign ID, event type, and random session ID. We do not include file contents, passwords, or tool input text in these events. Counts are operational observations and may include automated traffic.
Community
Participation is for people aged 16 and older. We store your site-specific account ID, public handle, avatar choice, posts, uploaded pictures, replies, votes, saved posts, blocks, and reports. Approved content and handles are public. Pending submissions are visible to their author and the owner; reports, saves, and blocks are private. Images are resized and re-encoded before upload, with JPEG metadata removed. The owner reviews submissions and reports. Removing a post hides it; contact the owner to request permanent deletion of your community information. Sign-in is provided by ChatGPT. We do not offer private messages.
Media tools
Audio conversion and video frame extraction process files locally. TikTok and Instagram guides link to official platform services, which apply their own policies.
Online chess and notifications
Online chess stores your site-specific account identifier, chosen public nickname, game moves, opponents, rank points, wins, losses, draws, ranked match results, and notification preferences. Rank and rating are visible to opponents; competitive rank stays on your account across devices. Your nickname is visible in the lobby and your games. Your verified account email is stored privately for opted-in game notifications. Email delivery is not connected in the review version. When enabled, transactional notifications use Resend and include a link to the game; you can disable them in the player profile. Text messages are not configured.
Contact and advertising inquiries
Submitting a form stores your name, email, optional company, selected topic, and message so the owner can review and respond. Do not include payment details or confidential files. Records are kept while needed for handling the inquiry and related business records. Use the contact form to request access or deletion.
Hosting, sign-in, and third parties
TEWLBOX is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. Hosting and authentication services may process technical request information and cookies under their own policies. Owner pages require ChatGPT sign-in and server-side authorization. Google Fonts is used for typefaces and receives a normal browser request. External retailer, news, and sponsor links open third-party websites governed by their own policies.
Advertising
First-party sponsorships may record views and clicks as described above. Google AdSense and third-party behavioral advertising are not enabled in the initial review version. This policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those services are activated.
Your choices
You can clear site storage in your browser to remove favorites, local game records, and the session identifier. You can avoid submitting forms or running external-data searches. For a privacy request, use Contact & feedback.
